Little Rock, Ark. - Lela Delgado-Presley, account planner with The Communications Group, was honored at a ceremony June 26 for graduates of Leadership Greater Little Rock XXIV.
Leadership Greater Little Rock is a program of the Greater Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. Since 1985, Leadership Greater Little Rock has graduated over 1,100 community leaders from its training program, including a Secretary of State, President Pro Tempore of the Senate, University President and two Chamber Chairmen. Each year, approximately 50 class members are selected from hundreds of applicants to participate in the nine?month program.
Delgado-Presley has been in the advertising business for more than 25 years. She is active in Hispanic community outreach and a second term board member of JCCA (formerly NCCJ) in Central Arkansas. She is the primary account executive for Bank of the Ozarks and White River Medical System. Delgado-Presley is the second executive from the agency to graduate from this prestigious program. Agency partner Dane Cowling is an alumnus of the Leadership Greater Little Rock program as well.
