Feb. 02, 2012; Little Rock, Ark. – The Communications Group, a Little Rock-based marketing, public relations and advertising firm, is proud to announce that Lisa Bondurant, MA, APR has been named president of the Arkansas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Bondurant, Senior Vice President and Director of Public Relations at The Communications Group, was inducted on Friday, January 20.
Since joining the firm in 1997, Bondurant has built an award-winning public relations department. During her tenure as the agency’s public relations director, she has worked with many of the region’s leading companies and organizations, including the Arkansas Department of Health, Arkansas Department of Human Services, Eli Lilly and Co., Texas Gas, Boardwalk Pipelines, Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board, Walmart, Clean Line Energy and the Delta Regional Authority.
Bondurant previously worked in public relations and marketing at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Columbia Doctors Hospital and the American Cancer Society. She has a master’s degree in communication and is “APR” accredited by the Public Relations Society of America.
