Little Rock, Ark. – The Communications Group, a Little Rock-based marketing, public relations and advertising firm, promoted Lisa Bondurant, a 21-year public relations veteran, to senior vice president. She will retain her duties as the director of public relations in addition to her duties as a member of the executive team.
Since joining the firm in 1997, Bondurant has built an award-winning public relations department. During her tenure as the agency’s public relations director, she has worked with many of the region’s leading companies and organizations, including the Arkansas Department of Health, Eli Lilly and Co., Verizon Wireless, Texas Gas Transmissions and the Delta Regional Authority.
According to Dan Cowling, president of the firm, Bondurant was a key factor in the agency being awarded the title of “Best PR Agency” by the readers of Arkansas Business in 2007.
Bondurant previously worked in public relations and marketing at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Columbia Doctors Hospital and the American Cancer Society. She has a master’s degree in communication and is “APR” accredited by the Public Relations Society of America.
