Rachel was selected to fill one of two internships with ComGroup. She is a recent graduate of the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Communications. While at UCA, Rachel served on the board of the university’s chapter of PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) and went on to become the president her senior year. Rachel was involved with her campus newspaper and produced, shot and edited webcast videos.
A universal requirement of any employee at the agency is a favorable orientation toward chocolate. Rachel’s insistence that chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream can be a solution to virtually any problem was one of the primary reasons for her selection, but it turns out she has other really useful skills as well. Rachel has experience working with online reputation management, social media, PR strategy, writing and video production.
Rachel’s internship includes work with the agency’s customers in the PR Group, iB2B Group and the Outreach & Education Group.
Other specialties: Being a model sibling. Geriatric dog mom. Breaker-of-rules (ask her about the Abraham Lincoln exhibit in Washington DC that she wasn’t supposed to touch). Avid swimmer.
