Project: Healthy Delta Community Health Series The Communications Group developed a series of events to offer free health screenings to underserved communities and enroll people in the Healthy Delta program. All the screenings were conducted at high traffic Wal-Mart stores with participation from local healthcare providers and social service agencies. Communication was aimed at employers, the media, business leaders and individuals who had diabetes or might be at risk. Outcome: A total of 1,505 individuals were screened during the series of events. |
