Deborah Beard Joins The Communications Group
December 16, 2002; Little Rock, Ark. – The Communications Group, a Little Rock-based marketing, advertising, public relations and strategic planning firm, announced today that it has added Deborah Beard to its professional staff.
Beard, a longtime communications professional in the Little Rock market, will join the agency as an account planner, working on several of the agency’s healthcare and outreach and education clients including The Campaign for Healthier Babies, BreastCare and ARKids First.
Beard, a graduate of UALR, has previously worked for other advertising agencies in the market serving as a public relations director and a senior public relations account executive. Her public relations experience includes work for Little Rock Downtown Partnership, the Little Rock Port Authority, Brannon’s Gourmet Market, Riverfest, Arkansas’s Excelsior Hotel, Entergy Corporation, Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, World Wide Travel and the Arkansas State Fair. She has also worked at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center and as a free-lance public relations practitioner. Her involvement in the community includes work with the Arkansas Arts Center’s Tabriz, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation’s Race for the Cure, Pulaski Heights Baptist Church and the Junior League of Little Rock.
