Lela is an account planner whose skills include issue advocacy and education programs, project management and client relationship building. In addition to working with some of the agency’s largest clients, she brings unique abilities in the area of marketing to the Hispanic community.

She has over 20 years of advertising experience and previously worked with Acxiom Corporation as a Creative Team Leader, developing a new creative department for corporate marketing. While at Acxiom, Lela was responsible for corporate branding campaigns and developing a corporate identity package, marketing to both internal and external audiences. Lela also has experience working with international markets, including the U.K., Japan and Australia.

Lela is active in the community, currently serving on the Board of Directors for Just Communities of Central Arkansas (JCCA) and is also a current member of the Leadership Greater Little Rock 2008-09. She is a long time member of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) having formerly served as Vice President of Public Relations, Arkansas Director for Women and Chairperson for Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, LULAC’s largest annual fundraising event held in Central Arkansas. In 1995, Lela served as freelance producer for Una Vida Mejor (A Better Life) in partnership with Arkansas’s AETN public television network. This documentary helped put a face on the rapidly increasing Hispanic migration to Arkansas.
