LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – (April 13, 2018) – The Communications Group, a Little Rock-based full-service marketing and public relations firm, announced today the firm will focus on three industry niches moving forward. The firm made the announcement amid a new brand launch for the 30-year-old company on Friday. The announcement, which came with a website launch, highlights the firm’s focus on agriculture (Ag), business-to-business (B2B) and government-to-citizen (G2C) clients.
The Communications Group was founded in downtown Little Rock in 1987 by Dan Cowling, Dane Cowling and two other partners. Shortly after the Cowling brothers opened ComGroup’s doors, they were working with a manufacturing client, Innovation Industries of Russellville. The firm still works with that customer today. Dan Cowling, who spent time at various agencies around the state before opening the doors of The Communications Group, launched his career with an agriculture client headquartered in Stuttgart. In the past 30 years, the firm has developed a reputation of working on government outreach, having built and implemented more than 40 G2C campaigns.

The B2B work includes national and worldwide clients like ABB, Speakman Company, Motion Industries and Toyota Forklifts. The firm’s agriculture experience spans several commodity checkoff boards, land grant universities and private companies across the country.
