Positive Impressions won a bronze award in the 2017 Pyramid Award Competition sponsored by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI). A total of 39 Gold, Silver and Bronze winners were recognized at the PPAI Award Presentation and Reception held in January at the PPAI Expo in Las Vegas.
John Festa, owner of Positive Impressions, of Little Rock, was presented a Bronze award in the category of Diversity & Social Responsibility Programs for the Arkansas Behind the Badge campaign. Behind the Badge was created by The Communications Group of Little Rock as a pro bono campaign to show support for the men and women in law enforcement.
Positive Impressions provided 10,000 free bumper stickers to the Behind the Badge campaign, which featured uniformed officers from Little Rock Police Department, North Little Rock Police Department and the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office. In the first 6 months of Behind the Badge, the campaign generated nearly 3 million impressions.
The Pyramid Award, first introduced in 1958, recognizes campaigns that demonstrate the effective use of promotional products, packaging and copywriting to create integrated marketing communications programs and quantifiable results. “We are pleased to recognize Positive Impressions with the Pyramid Award,” said Paul Bellantone, president and CEO of PPAI. “Positive Impression’s dedication to solution-oriented products combined with creative inspiration in promotional strategies resonates with customers and the community.”
The winners were selected by a panel of independent industry professionals. PPAI is the world’s largest and oldest association serving more than 14,000 corporate members of the promotional products industry. Learn more about the PPAI awards here.
