Question & Answer
How would you describe your day-to-day work?
On a good day - Rich Strike's victory at the Kentucky Derby. On a bad day - I don't know, haven't had one yet...
Describe a favorite client project:
Making a client's wish come true! A client recently came to us with nothing more than an obscure anecdote. Long story short, the client received some pretty high praise from a high ranking official for the work they were doing. We took that seed and cultivated it into a multi-faceted cover story that compared the impact of their service in Arkansas to the arrival of electricity! In fact, the story was so good, other media outlets had to share it. The project couldn't have turned out any better, and what's more - the client couldn't have been happier.
Did you have any pets as a child? What kind?
Lots. Growing up on a farm, that tends to happen. I’ve had several dogs through the years, countless cats, a rabbit, hermit crabs, fish, a pony, chickens and goats. Most recently, I’ve enjoyed the company of my basset hound, Laramour (Larry for short). My parents gave him to me as a graduation gift after college.
What did you do during the summertime?
Mostly worked on the farm. It seems like there was always fence that needed to be built back then. I have a lot of fond memories driving around with my dad checking cattle, opening gates and riding along in the tractor while he baled hay.
What were you most afraid of as a child?
Heights. It’s why I stopped growing at 5’8”.
