Briefly describe your role: 

Providing training for early care educators and parent education classes, community outreach.

Q: Is what you’re doing now what you always pictured you would do?

A: Yes, I knew I always wanted a career that focused on children and families where I can make a difference in their lives. I want to be an advocate for early childhood providers in our community. Child care is so important for families. Children in early care settings are our future workforce.

Q: Who has inspired you in your life/career?

A: My mom is a hard worker and dedicated to her career. Her leadership and community involvement have inspired me.

Q: What advice would you give to an aspiring professional?

A: Work hard and enjoy your job. Be involved in your local community.

Q: What’s been your secret to success?

A: My willingness to learn, openness to new ideas and passion for the children and families that we serve.
